Do prepaid cell phones that are from USA work in another country with the same US plan?

I have a Movida cell phone, and I’m going for a vacation to Mexico. I was just wondering if my cell will still work over there with the same plan I have here? Has anybody gone to the exterior an have their prepaid work???

YES!,but u need to have someone in ur hometown to buy u recharge cards and sms u the number,or validation period(if u have one) will expire.
oh and ur provider might only allow that if u switch to roaming service
