What kind of cell phones can u get with prepaid phones?

So i guess my mom said for my birthday she will get me a prepaid Verizon Wirreless cell phone. She didnt say a definite yes but she said we will see. I was just wondering like what kind of phones can you get? If possible can u just give me the link please? Please i realllly wanna cell phone for my 12th birthday! Thanks!!

Yes, Verizon offers a pre-paid plan — but if your Mom wants the one where you "pay as you go" and you just add as much money as you want for your minutes — make sure she explains that to them, because they have other plans that they refer to as "pre-paid" plans, but they’re a little different from the "pay as you go" type of plan. You can get a decent phone — w/ a camera — and you will be able to text — it’s not the fanciest phone, but it’s a perfectly good phone.
