How do prepaid cell phones work? How exactly does the payment and plan work?

Also, If I buy an AT&T cell from Walmart, will it be free minutes for calling to another AT&T cell? What type of text plans are available, and would they be free or unlimited also between AT&T cells?

You have to buy the prepaid cards and there are no plans you just use the phone and when you use all of the card you go buy another one not worthit just get a metro for 50 dollars you get unlimited everything. I had prepaid fro att and trac phone and verizon prepaid no worth it to expensive.

    The best and cheapest prepaid is Page Plus…its only $39.95 for unlimited minutes and unlimited texting
