If I buy one of those verizon prepaid cell phones, can I call and activate it for my plan?

I have a plan with verizon but my phone broke and I was stupid enough to not have insurance on it. Ive been looking at phones to replace mine but they all cost so much money. I found some cheap prepaid phones. Would they work with my plan if I called and asked them to activate it with my number?

    Maybe, but only if it is a verizon pre paid phone you are buying. I am not saying it will work. Try calling verizon and ask them if you know the phone model#.
